From the dunes of Crowbush Cove to the beautiful woods lined fairways of Green Gables, you will be able to bask in our Islands golfing landscape.
Go to the western end of P.E.I. and experience Mill River and “enjoy” the never-ending doglegs and be sure to let us know if you find a level green! A fun course to play and a true test of golf! After conquering Mill River, why not head to the Cavendish area where you will find a few challenges as you golf some o the finest courses in PEI.
Prince Edward Island’s major resort area is in and around the community of Cavendish. Cavendish has four of the Islands best courses in Green Gables, Glasgow Hills, Eagles Glenn and, Anderson’s Creek. All are top-notch courses comparable to any found on the Island. After you have finished these courses you can start heading to the eastern end of the island where you will find more of our best courses. Start by spending a day on the challenging majestic Brudenell Golf course.
From breath taking water holes to par fives that never seem to end, Brudenell will give you many memories to take home and a few winter nightmares! Located next to Brudenell you will find its sister course Dunderave, which has matured into one of our Islands best tests of golf. If you like winding narrow fairways with lots of trees and scruff grass, you will indeed be in your element at one of the finest new course in Atlantic Canada.
Of course, the jewel of P.E.I.'s golf courses still remains the links at Crowbush Cove. John Daly, Freddie Couples, Mark O’Meara and Mike Weir loved it and you will also. What you may not love is the wind blowing in from the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Imagine trying to carry a ball tee to green, 210 yards over water into a 60 klm sea breeze (yes, there is a limit on how many balls you are allowed to stand there and hit). Narrow fairways, tough rough and super fast greens will give new meaning to the phrase “course management” At Crowbush you pray for a calm day and even calmer nerves. Enjoy!
You can purchase a basic golf and accommodation package or dress up your package with dining vouchers, steak and mussels. We utilize a number of fine restaurants in Cavendish and area and of course Wild Goose Lodge is fully equipped with propane barbecues and each unit has full kitchen facilities.
